The Ballantine Cup
Established in 2015, The Genuine Ballantine Draft Beer Swinging Penguin Cup (Ballantine Cup for short) is a men’s golf competition between two teams from Arlington Heights, Illinois: The Red Wave captained by Dan Tueschers and The Gentlemen of the Blue, current Ballantine Cup holders, captained by Matt DeRosa. The competition is contested over four matches at varying North Suburban golf courses every summer.
The Ballantine Cup involves various match play competitions between players selected from two teams. The following are the current formats:
